Both Red Dog Saloon and Pappy & Harriet’s are Pioneer Town’s long time staples worth checking out. (they are within walking distance from one another) They’re iconic-ly cowboy-ish with amazing ribs and meet that you can smell as soon as you get out of your car.

This is as local as it gets. Everyday (depending on if the weather allows) - there’s a taco stand right by the 62 freeway and Indio Ave. It’s the best taco in town that nobody talks about.

No disrespect for JT Coffee who you should still go visit to get their neon pink coffee bean bag as a gift, Mas O Menos actually has the best coffee in town. They often also have pop up events and collaboration with local vendors for food/drinks/activities. Check their website and Instagram before you go!

Often dubbed “the place where the young kids go” - they do have amazing sandwiches and bar food with a little twist. Don’t forget to take a picture with a giant framed cat.

As random as it may be, they’ve got some of the best kabobs we’ve ever had. Incredibly juicy meet with their homemade hummus. Great for both dining in or takeout.
